We are finally ready to see what's been happening so far this year.

It is so exciting to start a new school year.  I am also very lucky because my previous k students are across the hall and in grade 1!  I will update this blog with pictures as often as possible and after special events.

Life cycle of a butterfly

By Friday, June 8, 2012, 11 butterflies had emerged

On Wednesday, June 6, 2012, the first butterfly hatched

The chrysalises have developed and ready to come out of the containers

The caterpillars have climbed to the top and are beginning to form their chrysalises

The caterpillars are bigger by eating their food

On Friday, May 18, 2012, our class received  14 caterpillars and we will be observing the different stages of their life cycle.
