Life cycle of a butterfly

There are also cotton balls soaked in gatorade for food. 
By Friday, June 8, 2012, 11 butterflies had emerged
On Wednesday, June 6, 2012, the first butterfly hatched

The chrysalises have developed and ready to come out of the containers
The caterpillars have climbed to the top and are beginning to form their chrysalises

The caterpillars are bigger by eating their food

On Friday, May 18, 2012, our class received  14 caterpillars and we will be observing the different stages of their life cycle.
